About me
Kristi Mathiesen, who started teaching in 2017, is presently teaching 6th grade Science and Science Research at Monte Vista Middle School in Monte Vista. She graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science in Education and from CSU Global with a Master of Science in Teaching and Learning with a specialization in K–12 Mathematics. She was chosen to be an Advocate for Society for Science for the past two years. She is also an advisor for Girls At the Museum Exploring Science (GAMES) through the Museum of Natural History, CSU Boulder.
