SLV Winter Educators Conference

In this session, educators will review the CDE Family, School and Community Partnerships rubric to assess their family engagement practice. The rubric reflections will help educators identify opportunities to strengthen relationships and communication with families and to consider a persistent challenge they face engaging families.  Using a problem of practice discussion protocol, educators will then collaborate to think about the root causes of their challenge and potential solutions for addressing it. Through the protocol, educators will tap into one another's expertise and identify concrete actions they can to resolve their challenge and engage all families as academic partners.
